Welcome to Reset & Refresh 2023 - The Community Psych Series. Over the course of three workshops, you'll be immersed in the power of positive psychology for a transformative 2023. Combining a bit of woo-woo with a lot of evidence-based neuroscience and psychology, you'll learn about Goals, Emotions, Self-Regulation, Boundaries, and how food affects our thoughts, mood, and, therefore, our outlook. Across three workshops, you'll learn:
Workshop 2 (February 18)
Self-regulation and our emotions, along with self-soothing techniques
How our self-worth ties in with our achievements (or failures) and how to improve it
Why habit tracking is an important component of hitting your goals and how to do it
After the workshops; you'll walk away with the following:
A better understanding and awareness of your habits and how they affect your life
A clear vision for your future with powerful goals to match
Your 2023 core values that will help guide your decision making
Tools for self-regulation and positive self-soothing
An understanding of which foods support our brain and gut health and, therefore, our moods
A community committed to working on our mental health and supporting one another
A workbook that you can refer back to year after year
Each workshop will include some creative art therapy and journalling, and... the final workshop in the series will feature a yin yoga class to close off the series.
